It’s so surreal that I am posting today’s blog. Today’s wedding feature is one that is not only unbelievably beautiful but it’s one that is extra special to me. I’m so honored to be sharing my best friend’s wedding with y’all. When Brittney and Jay got engaged this past December I knew their wedding day would be one of the most memorable days of the year and I was right. From the moment we stepped on the property everything felt so magical and fell into place effortlessly. From the bright & bold color palette of the wildflowers, to the *many* tear-filled first looks, to the heartfelt vows they exchanged, to Brittney’s dreamy wedding gown… The day could not have been any more perfect.

Jay & Brittney fell in love over their shared love of Jay’s German Shepard, Baron, so it only felt right that he was included throughout the day. Seriously, you guys just wait until you see the portraits of him during golden hour LOL. I asked Brittney what her wedding vision was for their big day was and this was her response “My wedding: I wanted something that felt magical. Something whimsical and very romantic. We wanted something that BOTH Jay and I felt showed off who we are. The second we showed up to Breckenridge Barn we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. It wasn’t even finished construction but it’s 100% my design style. The groomsmen suite was JAY. The American flag, the pool table, the masculine vibe. The barn also had masculine elements but my decor was soft and feminine so it felt like the perfect balance of the two of us”

Being a part of this entire wedding planning process with Jay & Brittney has been such a joy. I am so excited to be sharing a small glimpse into their wedding day with y’all!
