I cannot believe I am actually blogging this, this morning! Eddie & I got engaged yesterday evening and I am still on cloud nine today!! I woke up this morning thinking “oh my goodness, I am someone’s FIANCE” Like how cool is that?! And the absolutely best part is that someone is the man of my dreams. I would be a liar if I said I wasn’t waiting for the day that Eddie would ask be to spend the rest of our lives together- I have known for a long time that he was the one. He was just waiting for the perfect moment.

Our Proposal Story:

Yesterday, Eddie made reservations for us to have dinner in Murrell’s Inlet overlooking the marsh since I am leaving Wednesday to travel back to MD to start wedding season. We enjoyed happy hour cocktails and just as Eddie was finishing up paying the bill Ed Sherran’s “Thinking Out Loud” starting playing throughout the restaurant. We walked outside, hand in hand, enjoying the sunset over the marsh as our favorite song played in the background. I could tell Eddie was getting nervous and then I started getting butterflies as he poured his heart out to me. Then he got down on one knee as asked me to marry him!! I was so excited I forgot to even say yes… We were laughing and it was so perfect. It couldn’t have been anymore perfect.

 

Eddie, I absolutely adore you and cannot wait to be your wife. I love you, deeply.
