Hi friends! I am typing this post at the airport as I am getting ready to board my flight to Florida for a wedding in Fort Myers! (I’m crazy, I know!)  This past Saturday I captured the incredibly gorgeous wedding of Matthew & Valerie! These college sweethearts met during Valerie’s senior year at West Virginia University and it was love at first sight. As she mentioned in her email to me, “We fell in love hard and fast and have not been able to stay away from each other ever since” How sweet is that?! Matt proposed to Val on his birthday overlooking the Harbor East at sunset. As they were admiring the sunset, Matt turned and said, “This has been the best birthday ever, but the only thing that would make this birthday better is if you spent every birthday with me for the rest of my life” and then he got down on one knee! *Cue all the tears*

Matt and Val tied the knot at Stone Manor Country Club with a romantic themed wedding that left guests speechless. From the lovely soft blush hues, to the classic black tuxes, to the beautiful calligraphy by Dirt Road Designs to the AMAZING backdrop that they all made- No detail was left out!! It was such an unforgettable wedding day that I was so honored to capture. I know you all are going to just fall in love with these two like I have- Enjoy a little preview into the beginning of their marriage journey! Congratulations Matthew & Valerie!
