An Open Love Letter to My Future Husband…

Eddie, I had full intentions of blogging a gorgeous engagement session today but then I realized today’s date, October 7th. Our favorite date. A date that we picked to fully commit to one another. And I also remembered it was Wednesday so obviously, I had to blog something for Gnip Wedding Wednesday. I know how much you love my blogging and even though you roll your eyes when I tell you about my posts I know deep down you secretly love when people approach you and ask, “Are you Eddie from the blog?!” You feel like a little celebrity and you soak it up. Well, today is all about you and the crazy amount of love I have for you.

A year from now, I will probably be putting on my dress and I will probably have cried more times than I can count. The farm tables will be set up, the greenery placed just perfectly, and you will probably doing shots of Crown Royal with your groomsmen to calm your nerves. I will be so nervous and so excited to see you at our first look- a moment together I will cherish forever. My dad will be preparing to give me away to you and even though his heart will break a little, I know he loves you just as much as I do. How could he not? You are everything I could have dreamed of in the perfect partner and so much more. Your kind heart and calm spirit makes everything seem okay when I think its all falling apart. I am so blessed to get to love you every day and even more blessed to be becoming your wife. My mom will be a hot mess giving her speech trying to make it a sentence without crying and your mom will hopefully be signing her sweet heart out. It will be the perfect beginning to our marriage.

There isn’t another person I would rather move to another state with and build a life together without having an idea if we are making the right decision. There isn’t another person I would like to listen to for hours about fishing even though I have no idea what you’re talking about. You make me the happiest girl in the world and I cherish the love we share.
