Many of you know, last week I spent 7 days relaxing in the Dominican Republic with my family to celebrate my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary! As a gift to my parents, I told them I would photograph their anniversary session- quick back story: my parents have no pictures from their wedding. NONE! So when I stress the importance of the photographic experience to my clients theres a reason why, I see how hurt my mom is that she doesn’t have any images to look back on and show us. Its so funny as I was going through the images there was one thing I noticed- my mother’s smile. I always joke with her that she smiles differently in pictures than she does in person- but not these images! You can truly see how happy and in love she is. (All thanks to my sweet dad!) While we were there, I also grabbed some images of my brother, Nick, and his long-time girlfriend, Meghan. It was the perfect ending to our vacation that was filled with lots of sun, coconut drinks and relaxation!
