After having to reschedule numerous times due to the weather I finally met up with Tim & Emily two weeks ago in Washington, DC for their engagement session! Being from Northern Maryland I don’t get to explore DC as much as I would like to but Emily & Tim gave me a perfect tour of the area! We met at a local Starbucks within walking distance of the DC Navy Yard neighborhood. The neighborhood was filled with old brick buildings, an iconic bridge and a beautiful waterfront- a perfect location without any tourists! We also made our way up the street to the Nationals Ballpark, talk about a gorgeous stadium! The stadium was so modern & sleek- definitely gives Camden yards a run for its money. (Just kidding, Orioles Fans hehe) After snapping some shots with a stadium backdrop we headed to our last stop, their favorite view of Capitol Hill. Perfect sunrise engagement filled with warm light, baseball & cherry blossom buds! <3 Tim & Emily are tying the knot later this year at one of my favorite venues, the Barn at Grimmel Farms! Cannot wait to photograph Tim & Emily’s big day in October!
